US Open Predictions

Iga Swiatek vs Jule Niemeier: Set Betting – Swiatek 2-0

To be fair, Jule Niemeier knocked out all her opponents in straight sets, including an impressive win over Sofia Kenin; however, she’s going up against the most dominant player on the tour. We would like to point out that Iga Swiatek broke her opponents 14 times across three matches; she has not dropped a single set in this tournament. That being said, anything other than a straight sets win for Iga would be a surprise

Odds: Swiatek 1/7 (1.14) – Niemeier 9/2 (5.50)

Marin Cilic vs Carlos Alcaraz: Set Betting – Alcaraz 3-0

This will be the third meeting between these players on outdoor hardcourt; Alcaraz won the previous two encounters in straight sets. In fact, the last time Cilic lost a match, it was at the hands of Alcaraz in Cincinnati last month. Furthermore, the Spaniard hasn’t surrendered a single set in this tournament, he held all his opponents to 10 games or less. Taking everything into account, we believe that Carlos Alcaraz will advance to the next round, and he’ll do it in three sets.

Odds: Cilic 4/1 (5.00) – Alcaraz 1/6 (1.17)

Cameron Norrie vs Andrey Rublev: Norrie to Win

After a thorough analysis of the statistics and the current performance of each player, we deduce that it will be the British player who will advance to the finals. Norrie has been solid in each of his matches, not only in this tournament but also in the events he has played in the last three months.

Rublev has a great level, but lately, he has had ups and downs, so it has been difficult for him to beat even players who are not even in the top 50 of the ranking. The last time they met, Cameron Lucio did better, since then the Briton’s success has increased so he will surely win, maybe in straight sets.

Odds: Norrie 1/2 (1.50)  – Rublev 6/4 (2.50)

These odds were correct at the time of writing. We recommend checking with the bookmaker before placing the bet.
