Stan Wawrinka vs Novak Djokovic – Match Predictions
Contents
Wawrinka and Djokovic have played many epic matches in the past and even though the Swiss player is far past his prime, there is no doubt that we will see another epic battle.
Stan Wawrinka +7.5 games
There is no doubt that Novak Djokovic is in much better shape at the moment and has defeated Wawrinka 23 times before. The Serbian is the one who will most likely advance to the next round, but the given +7.5 games spread is a little too much for Wawrinka. The Swiss player serves well on grass and he is aware that he will have to do that consistently to keep himself in this match. As longer the points are, Djokovic will be in advantage. Wawrinka will win the majority of his serving games and will cover the given spread.
Over 30.5 games
As mentioned above, Wawrinka is underestimated in this match. Both of the previous Djokovic’s opponents stayed on the court for more than 30.5 games and there is no doubt Wawrinka will survive long enough to take the match above the given margin.
