Our favourite Sofia Kenin vs Emma Navarro predictions

Sofia Kenin has been near the top of the WTA rankings which looks pretty far from this point. Navarro, on the other hand, has never been among the Top 50 players, something that she will probably achieve after this week in San Diego.

Sofia Kenin to win @ 7/10 (1.70)

Both players beat the odds to reach the semifinals and this is a huge opportunity for them. Kenin knows how to win on a big stage while Navarro has never been even close to that. Both players are in good shape, but Kenin’s experience will be the difference maker. Another thing that goes in Kenin’s favor is their schedule as this will be Kenin’s fourth match this week, while Navarro already played five.

First set over 9.5 games @ 2/1 (2.00)

With a place in the final on the line, both players will bring their bets game on the court. They both move well and have a solid serve. Navarro played more than 9.5 games in each of the first sets in her last three matches and she will be able to keep it close against Kenin, who is expected to set the tone in the match.
