2023 Monte Carlo Masters Predictions – Best Betting Tips for Today

The 2023 Monte Carlo Masters will draw to a close today. It’s worth mentioning that some of the pre-tournament favourites withdrew from this competition due to injury. This includes Spain’s biggest stars: 11 time Monte Carlo champion Rafael Nadal and current World number 2 Carlos Alcaraz.

In spite of this, we’ve been treated to some exciting fixtures over the past six days. That said, the seeded players in this tournament performed as expected. Only one non-seeded player made it to the quarter-final; and all of our semifinalists were amongst the top 8 seeds. On that note, there are two players left in this competition, and both will be battling for the first Monte Carlo Masters title of their respective careers.

Monte Carlo Masters Predictions – Outright Winner

Holger Rune is the favourite to hoist the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters title, and for good reason. The Dane has been almost unstoppable in this competition, surrendering just one set en route to the final. What’s more? Rune knocked out Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev, two of the top seeded players in his last two matches. Additionally, the 19 year old tends to play well on clay courts. He won two titles on clay last year, and reached the French Open quarter-final.

However, it’s also fair to point out that Andrey Rublev is a clay court specialist too. This isn’t the Russian player’s first rodeo here, as he reached the final of the Monte Carlo Masters two years ago. Like his opponent, Rublev advanced to the quarter-final of the French Open last year, for the second time in his career. This should be an exciting clash between the fifth and sixth seeds of this tournament. Both players have never won an ATP 1000 event on clay, so they’ll give their all to win. That said, this isn’t going to be a one-sided contest, and we’re backing Andrey Rublev to win in three long sets.
