Maxime Cressy vs J.J. Wolf Prediction and Odds: Atlanta Open 2023

J.J. Wolf had a furious start of the Atlanta Open this year and will face Maxime Cressy in the second round of the tournament.

These odds from Ladbrokes were correct at the time of writing.

Maxime Cressy vs J.J. Wolf – Match Predictions

Cressy has a losing record in the middle of the season and needs to perform well in Atlanta to get his confidence back. That may not be eaasy against J.J. Wolf, who lost only three games in the opening round.

Maxime Cressy +2.5 games

Both players have excellent serves and even though J.J. Wolf has much better season than Cressy, this will be a tight one. Wolf plays from the base line most of the time while Cressy moves all over the court and is often playing serve and volley. He is good enough with that tactics and that will definitely give him a chance in this match but just in case, the +2.5 games on Cressy is the recommended choice.

Over 24.5 games

The total games margin is set pretty high for this match and that is for a reason. As mentioned, both players have excellent serve and we will not see many points that will feature a lot of exchanges. The match will probably go in the third set but even if it doesn’t, we will see two long sets that will go close, or in the tie break.
