Our favourite Maria Sakkari vs Emma Navarro predictions

Emma Navarro won four consecutive matches in straight sets and has a chance to make it to the semis from the qualifiers.

Maria Sakkari to win @ 7/10 (1.70)

Maria Sakkari is not on the confidence level a top 10 player should be after another early Grand Slam exit. She has the quality and is among the strongest players on tour, and it is finally time to get close to the title. Navarro is having a busy week as this will be her fifth match while Sakkari played only one match which ended sooner than expected. Navarro has a huge chance to get back in the top 50 but Sakkari plays with a chip on her shoulder and will find a way to win this one.

Under 21.5 games @ 17/20 (1.85)

Navarro is having an impressive week winning eighth straight sets but the fact is that she hasn’t played someone of Sakkari’s level. The tough week will take its toll on her in this match and Sakkari will win this match quite quickly.

Can Sakkari finally win her first title in four years?

Sakkari has been in the top 10 for a while but it’s been more than four years since she won her last title. Whether she will get closer to ending that streak, check out in our predictions in the San Diego Open.

Maria Sakkari

Sakkari is currently 9th in the WTA rankings, six spots lower than her career high. The 28-year-old is 29-18 for the season and 17-10 on hard surface.

The Greek has found her way to the quarterfinals after Camila Osorio retired in the second set of the previous match with Sakkari leading 6-3, 2-2.

That was Sakkari’s first win after losing in the opening US Open round to Rebeka Masarova and the round of 16 loss in Cincinnati to Karolina Muchova.

Sakkari’s best result this season was the final in Washington where she lost to Coco Gauff.

Emma Navarro

Navarro is currently 61st in the WTA rankings, 8 places lower than her career high. The 22-year-old is 49-20 for the season and 9-7 on hard surface.

She is coming off a 7-5, 6-4 win over Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the round of 16 match after winning in the first round against Jasmine Paolini. In the qualifying rounds, she defeated Iryna Shymanovich and Yasmine Kabbaj, both in straight sets.
