Therefore, it’s very appealing to back a Musetti win at those odds, especially since he has the kind of game that matches well against Shapovalov’s style.

While I believe that Lorenzo Musetti will win, I do not expect this to be a straightforward game. In fact, I expect quite the opposite. I say this because Shapovalov is still working his way back from injury, and Musetti’s results of late haven’t been stellar. So this suggests that a tight encounter is coming up.

Shapovalov is also a seriously talented player, and for me, he’s one of the best athletes out there. This makes him a tricky player to beat, but given how aggressively he plays, he can sometimes beat himself through unforced errors. Of course, he will need to reign those in if he has a shot to take out Musetti tonight.
