Given the surface and the conditions in Cincinnati, things certainly favor Daniil Medvedev for this match. However, Lorenzo Musetti is a talented player, and he can produce some magical stuff when he hits top gear.

These two guys have only played once, and as mentioned above, this match took place just last week. Medvedev beat Musetti by a score of 6-4 6-4 in that match, and it was pretty comfortable for the Russian. So with that in mind, and due to the conditions at the Cincinnati Open, I think it will be a repeat of last week.

As you can see from the result last week, the match had 20 games played in total. That’s about right for a straight-set victory with just a single break in each set. At the same time, depending on who serves first in each set, it could well just be 18 games in total if there is a single break in each set. So again, I feel this market is a likely winner.

Lorenzo Musetti is a very talented player – everybody knows this. However, he has often struggled to beat the best in the world, which Medvedev certainly is. Then again, he did have a decent win over Dan Evans in the first round, and this was a straight-set victory. But I must point out, Medvedev is on a different level to Evans on hard courts.

Additionally, he loves this part of the season, as his game is well-suited to the hard courts of North America. And assuming he serves well, it could well be a comfortable win for him today.
