Both players had a relatively successful Wimbledon and now are hungry for even bigger success in Newport.
Liam Broady 2-0
Liam Broady is coming off a successful week at Wimbledon, defeating world No. 4 Casper Ruud proving that he can be very good on grass. His confidence is sky-high going into this tournament, and the draw put him in a good situation facing world No. 192 Mochizuki. The Brit is a much better player overall and will have control of the result in this one. Holding to his serve should not be an issue, and that will lead Broady to a straight-set win.
Under 22.5 games
Mochizuki has just moved into the top 200 players in the ATP rankings, and he is just not on the level of the tournament. Broady is more experienced and will know how to get the job done pretty quickly in a match of under 22.5 games.
