It’s been a while since they played each other the last time, and even though Choinski won on both occasions, Broady is the better player today. He moves much better and has more experienced on this level of tournaments which will make the difference in this match.

Broady is ranked at No. 147 in the world and his career high is 116th. The 29-year-old is 22-13 for the season and 1-3 on grass. Last week, Broady lost in the opening round of the Queen’s Club Championships to Adrian Mannarino, 1-6, 6-4, 6-3. Broady became one of the fan favorites in his country after making it to the third round last year at Wimbledon. He defeated Lucas Klein and Diego Schwartzman before losing to Alex de Minaur. His best result this season were the finals in Vilnus and Biel and he lost on both occasions.
Jan Choinski
Choinski is enjoying his best career ranking at No. 167 in the world. The 27-year-old is 25-19 for the season and 1-3 on grass. Choinski had to go through the qualifiers to make the main draw of the Eastbourne International and he got there as a lucky loser after losing 7-6, 6-4 to Daniel Elahi Galan in the second qualifying round. Previously, he defeated Giles Hussey 6-3, 4-6, 6-2. Earlier this season, Choinski made it to four quarterfinals on the challenger tour but failed to make the finals on each occasion.
Liam Broady vs Jan Choinski Head to Head
This will be the third time for the two British players to face each other. Choinski won both of the previous matches in 2020 at the Battle of the Brits 2 with out dropping a single set, 6-2, 6-3 and 6-3, 6-4.
