What Led to Kyrgios’ Withdrawal
Kyrgios practiced on Sunday morning and told reporters that he is fit to play. However, later that they he took to Instagram to announce his withdrawal.
“I’m really sad to say that I have to withdraw from Wimbledon this year,” he wrote. “I tried my hardest to be ready after my surgery and to be able to step on the Wimbledon courts again. During my comeback, I experienced some pain in my wrist during the week of Mallorca. As a precaution I had it scanned and it came back showing a torn ligament in my wrist.

Kyrgios 2023 Season
Kyrgios missed the first half of the year and came back to action at the tournament in Stuttgart. He lost in the opening round to Yibing Wu and it was obvious that he is not on the necessary level.
