The second of the semi-finals in the women’s singles at Roland Garros is approaching quickly. It should be a very intriguing game between Paolini and Andreeva, too, which is why I’ve supplied a couple of key tennis predictions today for you to check out here.
Our favourite Jasmine Paolini vs Mirra Andreeva predictions
Contents
Although she’s been playing great tennis recently, not many would have expected Jasmine Paolini to be in the semi-finals of Roland Garros. Nevertheless, she’s made it, and her reward is a clash with Andreeva to see who makes the final. That said, who will make it into the title match from the bottom half of the draw?
Let me share my two cents now:
Three total sets @ 11/10 (2.10)
With the way things have been going for these two players at Roland Garros, I think this match could go right down to the wire. As we’ve seen already, Paolini has dropped a set in her last three matches prior to the semis. And because Andreeva is inexperienced at this stage in majors, I believe nerves may help push this game into a deciding set.
Over 22.5 games @ 10/11 (1.91)
Because I think that this match will consist of three sets, the logical complement to the first prediction is to cover an ‘over 22.5 games’ market. The odds for this one are just as appealing as they are for my first prediction too, which is why I think this is a good choice.
Jasmine Paolini vs Mirra Andreeva odds
With the betting markets established, the odds show us that Paolini has a 45.50% chance of winning, while the probability for Andreeva is 60%.
Who will emerge victorious in the second semi-final at Roland Garros?
I’ve given you my thoughts on the best markets to cover above. But let me also give you some information for each player involved in this game:
Jasmine Paolini preview
What a run this Italian player has had in the 2024 French Open! Paolini has never gone this far in a Grand Slam before, and it’s not like her semi-final spot has been handed to her. She’s overcome the likes of Rybakina and Andreescu to get here, and she’s won 3x three-set matches in a row.
Mirra Andreeva preview
Andreeva has had an unbelievable tournament to reach this point. At just 17 years of age, she’s showing the world why many have tipped her to be the next big thing in women’s tennis. And after beating the world number 2 in the quarter-finals, her confidence will be through the roof. However, she’s about to face another player who is in the form of her life.
Paolini vs Andreeva head to head
This is the part that Mirra Andreeva will want to focus on the most. She has a 1-0 head-to-head record against Paolini, and this win was in the 2024 Madrid Open. Therefore, she definitely has the mental edge coming into this match.
