He had a tough match in the previous round as he came back against Dominic Thiem winning 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 and then also needed three sets to go past Sebastian Baez. Last week, Tsitsipas lost in the finals in Barcelona 6-3, 6-4 against Carlos Alcaraz. That was his second final this season after he failed to Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open in straight sets.
