The second edition of the Guadalajara Open begins with much more fervor. This is no ordinary event, as the winner receives 1000 points. Still, Caroline Dolehide can lift a title in Mexico, but she will have to beat the number 3 seed, Maria Sakkari. The Greek player had a tough semi-final match against France’s Caroline Garcia, but she will finally be present in the decider.

Guadalajara Open schedule 2023 – The full tournament overview
Mexico will host one of the year’s final Masters 1000 events for a whole week. A huge contingent of the world’s finest players will be present, however we will have to wait until the second round, which begins on September 18, to witness them in action, as their ranking provides them the advantage of qualifying for the second phase.
