So far this year, the Greek lost five semifinals and the final in Washington, and this is the match she simply cannot afford to lose. All the pressure will be on her, and she hasn’t handled those type of situation particularly well in the past. Still, she is much better than Dolehide and will finally break the curse and win a WTA title, and will do that in big style.

Dolehide is currently 111th in the world and she has never been higher than No. 99. The 25-year-old is 43-22 for the season and 19-11 on hard surface.
The American is coming off a fantastic 7-6, 6-3 semifinal win against the former World No. 4, Sofia Kenin. In the quarterfinals, Dolehide turned things around against Martina Trevisan, and previously defeated Alexandrova, Vickery and Stearns.
Besides the Guadalajara Open, Dolehide’s best results this season were the ITF titles in Boca Raton and Naples.
Maria Sakkari
Sakkari is currently 9th in the rankings and her career high is No. 3 in the world. The Greek is 33-19 for the season and 22-11 on hard surface.
She is coming off a 6-3, 6-0 win over Caroline Garcia. Sakkari won all three previous matches in straight sets, against Storm Hunter, Camila Giorgi and Emiliana Arango.
She lost five semifinals this season before making it to the finals in Washington but lost to Coco Gauff.
