My tennis predictions today have finally reached the most important part of the championships in London. Of course, my tips here focus on the men’s singles final, and I’ve shared my two cents on Alcaraz vs Djokovic within.

Our favourite Carlos Alcaraz vs Novak Djokovic predictions

It’s the final we all wanted to see, yet only one of these men will win the title on Sunday. Will Carlos Alcaraz win it for the 2nd time, completing a French Open and Wimbledon double for the first time? Or will Novak Djokovic prove that he still has what it takes to win Wimbledon for the 8th time?

Check out my predictions below.

Djokovic to win @ 11/8 (2.38)

Despite the knee problems, talk of his decline, and his loss to Carlos Alcaraz in the finals last year, I still feel that Djokovic will get the job done on Sunday. He still has experience on his side – massively, and he will likely be fresher than Alcaraz going into the final. For that reason, I think he will win Wimbledon for the 8th time.

Over 37.5 games @ 8/11 (1.73)

Of the five matches Djokovic and Alcaraz have played against each other, only one of them has finished in straight sets. This happened to be the most recent match at the ATP Finals in 2023. But in Grand Slam tennis, their two matches have ended in four and five sets, making this market a logical play.

Carlos Alcaraz vs Novak Djokovic odds

Looking at the latest odds for this final, Alcaraz has a 61.90% chance of winning the tournament again, while Djokovic has a 42.10% probability of matching Federer’s record.

Master or apprentice for Wimbledon 2024 crown?

Sunday’s final is truly a mouthwatering contest, and I’ve got a bit of extra information for you right here.

Carlos Alcaraz preview

Alcaraz might not have breezed through to the Wimbledon finals, but he is there nevertheless. Of course, he’s the defending champion, too, which no doubt gives him some added belief that he can take down Djokovic again. As for his level of tennis, I wouldn’t say he has played his very best in Wimbledon 2024, but he’s found ways to win. But like all the top guys, I’m sure he will take it up a gear in the final.

Novak Djokovic preview

As a seven-time Wimbledon champion, Djokovic is a guy who has been in this situation numerous times. And as we can tell from the record books, he usually comes out on top when he makes it to the finals day at Wimbledon. However, he won’t have forgotten what Alcaraz stole from him in a five-set thriller 12 months ago. Furthermore, in true Djokovic style, he will be desperate to get his revenge here.

Alcaraz vs Djokovic head to head

The current head-to-head record between Alcaraz and Djokovic is 3-2 in favour of the Serbian. That said, he may have lost the finals of Wimbledon in 2023 to Alcaraz, but he has beaten him in their last two matches. The most significant of which was in the final of Cincinnati – a match that Djokovic won 7-6 in the third to shift the feeling of this rivalry.
