Cam Norrie is the 7th seed for the Barcelona Open, deservedly so. He’s already won a clay court title this year, and he is ranked 13 in the world at the moment. In contrast, his opponent is ranked 108 in the world, and he hasn’t captured any ATP titles this season. So naturally, Cam Norrie goes into this one as the heavy favourite. And since he is the favourite, obviously, he is expected to win this match and advance to the next round.
This means we have to be a little more creative than usual when finding some great tennis predictions today that have competitive betting odds. On that note, I believe I’ve found two gems for this one, as you can see here:

With Norrie being much more experienced at this level, combined with his form in recent times, I believe he will beat Kotov quite comfortably tomorrow. I just can’t see how Kotov can produce a level that’s high enough to secure a set. And with the odds for this market, it shows much better value than the moneyline option for Norrie.

The natural follow-up to a bet on Norrie to win 2-0 is to shoot for the under 20.5 games market. In theory, as long as he wins both sets by a score of 6-4 or less, this one will come through. Of course, there are other scores that would also produce a win for this one, but this is just to emphasize how likely this market is.

Cameron Norrie Preview
Norrie is one of the true battlers of the ATP Tour. To put this guy away you must produce a solid level, consistently. Furthermore, he is ranked 13 in the world, and he won the Rio Open earlier this season – a 500-level clay court event. So really, he should take the win here.
Pavel Kotov Preview
Kotov is ranked just outside of the top 100 at the minute, but to his credit, he’s been playing well in recent weeks. He made the semi-final of a 250 event in Morocco just last week, and he has now qualified for the Barcelona Open. But still, he is brand new to main draws at this level.
Norrie vs Kotov Head to Head
Unsurprisingly, these guys have never shared a match court together on the ATP Tour. I say this isn’t a surprise because Kotov is often seen playing Challengers, whereas Norrie is often playing ATP-level events. So we’ve got a blank canvas going into this match.
