Brandon Nakashima vs Max Purcell – Match Predictions
Contents
Both players love playing on hard surfaces, and this is a very important one at the beginning of the US Open series. Given the odds, Nakashima is a major favorite, but knowing how good serve Purcell has, anything is possible.
Brandon Nakashima 2-0
Nakashima is still one of the youngest players in the Top 60 on the tour and he is aiming at huge leap in the next couple of months. He is not in the best shape recently but plays well on hard surface and will have the support of the home crowd at the tournament where he reached the final two years ago. Purcell is slightly more experienced and can hold to his serve, but just like in their first match, Nakashima will win this one in straight sets.
Over 22.5 games
Both players have excellent serves and Purcell is the one whose game hugely relies on that. The Australian is capable of holding his serve and he will be able to do that at least in one set which will take the match over 22.5 games.
