Of course, Rublev will be looking to use his power to blast his way into the third round, while Murray will be hoping to use his on-court intelligence to figure out a way to beat Rublev.

Given Rublev is one of the top seeds, as shown in my Indian Wells 2024 preview, I’ve got to go with him over Murray. After all, Murray is talking about retirement, while Rublev is ranked 5 in the world. Furthermore, I don’t feel this is a good matchup for Murray, especially given the conditions in Indian Wells, which makes this market a likely winner.

Since my first tip is for Rublev to beat Murray in straight sets, this next market becomes a logical follow-up. Assuming Murray doesn’t push Rublev to a 6-4 7-5 win or worse, this market has a very good chance to pull through.

Last week he beat Shapovalov and in his first round here he beat David Goffin.
