In 2010, Karun Chandhok’s dream of becoming an F1 driver came true when he signed with backmarkers Hispania Racing Team but his appearances were limited as he was dropped midway in favour of Sakon Yamamoto. He spent the rest of the season as a co-commentator for the BBC Radio 5 Live. Though his time as an F1 driver was relatively brief, he left an indelible mark on the sport.
