Bukayo Saka has committed his future to Arsenal and pledged to bring trophies to the North London club.
Saka, 21, is one of the hottest properties in English football and he has inked a mega £300,000-a-week contract with his the Gunners.
A number of high-profile arrivals and departures are anticipated at the Emirates this summer as Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey, and Kieran Tierney could all depart, and Mikel Arteta is eager to reassemble his team.
The Spaniard came agonizingly close to leading Arsenal to the Premier League title for the first time in 20 years this season, but after losing to Manchester City, changes are anticipated. Saka agreed to the contract several weeks ago, but has only now signed it, giving Arsenal supporters a significant boost. He praised the fans for their role in Arsenal’s unexpected title challenge and insisted that they will continue the positive vibes next season.
“I have seen a lot of change,” the English winger said, “I’ve seen this team and the club grow, and one thing that everyone around us can be excited about is that we are going in the right direction.”
“Time is on our side. You can look at our team and a lot of the players are young,” Saka explained ,”We’re hungry, and a lot of us haven’t won trophies at Arsenal so we want to achieve big things. If you watch the way we all speak, we want to win and we want to win here.”
“It’s been too long since this club has had Champions League football. I’m really looking forward to Tuesday and Wednesday nights in this stadium, the atmosphere is going to be special.”
Saka: ‘I’m At The Right Place To Make The Next Step’
Saka also praised the fans and the “connection” he has developed with the Gunners support since graduating from Arsenal’s Hale End academy while his happiness at signing a new contract with his club was also clear.
“I’m just really happy, I’m at the right place to make the next step. It’s a beautiful club and I’m just so happy,” he stated.
“The fans have been so crazy, they’ve been so good this year. Even when I see them out, we have so much in common in terms of how passionate we are for this team. Sometimes I feel like some of these fans can play the game, that’s how passionate they are,” he continued.

“They would give everything; I can see it in their eyes when they’re speaking to me. It’s really nice to see that. I feel like we are all really connecting with the fans more and you can feel it in the stadium as well.” Saka said.
“There’s been a lot of talking and it’s been a while, but I’m here now. I think this is the right club, the right place to make the next step,” the winger said, “It’s a beautiful club – look where we are.”
“For me, it’s about achieving my personal ambitions; how much I push myself and demand from myself each game, week in, week out. Then I have all the right people around me in terms of family, and when I come to the training ground, my teammates, the coaching staff.
“I think I have everything I need to become the best player I can be, and that’s why I’m happy to stay here and be here for the future, because I really believe that we can achieve big things.”
Mikel Arteta also spoke on the contract extension of his star forward.
“It’s great for the club that Bukayo has extended his contract,” Arteta explained, “Retaining our best young talents is key to our continued progress and Bukayo represents such an important part of our squad now and for the future.”
“As well as being a fantastic talent, Bukayo is a special person, he’s loved by us all and he is a credit to himself and his family for the hard work and commitment they have all made to get to this level today,” the Spaniard said.
“Together with our supporters, we’re so looking forward to enjoying Bukayo’s continued development with us in the years to come.”
Last week, Arsenal also re-signed goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and are attempting to do the same with Martin Odegaard and William Saliba as they look to build on their progress made this season
