Our Chelsea predicted lineup vs Burnley is a force reborn after back-to-back wins against Brighton and Hove Albion and Fulham in the Carabao Cup and Premier League (PL) respectively.
While the Blues visit East Lancashire as favourites, they have not won three competitive games in a row since March. But they will surely see this as a golden opportunity to amend that negative statistic against the struggling Clarets.

Mykhaylo Mudryk was taken off at half-time against Fulham with an injury, but confirmed that it was nothing serious and that he should be okay for Burnley. However, Ben Chilwell is set to be sidelined for at least two months with a hamstring problem, and he joins a growing list of long-term absentees.
Chelsea’s other goalscorer in the game, Armando Broja, also confirmed that he was only taken off as a precaution, amid potential injury fears. Mauricio Pochettino also gave an update on Moises Caicedo after the match, claiming that he had a contusion but played down its seriousness.

Chelsea predicted lineup vs Burnley – Our top three
Mykhaylo Mudryk – Finding his feet
Mudryk could be Chelsea’s biggest threat against Burnley, and will be full of confidence after finally opening his goalscoring account. The Ukrainian won two of his ground duels against Fulham, and also won one tackle and foul in the first half, proving himself a handful for Fulham’s defenders.
He clearly has talent, and is eager to show why Chelsea paid so much money to sign him in January. At his previous club Shakhtar Donetsk, Mudryk scored 12 goals and made 17 assists in just 44 appearances, including five goal contributions in the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League group stage.
The 22-year-old will strike fear into Burnley’s backline, who are conceding over two goals a game on average in the PL. Nonetheless, Mudryk has a point to prove, and you would not back against him to score again.
Armando Broja – Could keep his place
After also netting against Fulham, Broja could keep his place up front despite the return of Nicolas Jackson from suspension. Aside from his goal, Broja won five of his duels on Monday, recorded two successful dribbles and won one foul, highlighting the impact he had.
Jackson has looked lively in a Chelsea shirt, but he only has two goals to show for it so far, so there is no reason for Broja not to get another start at Turf Moor.
Enzo Fernandez – Ever-present
In spite of Chelsea’s long injury list, Fernandez has not missed a game for them since joining in January. The FIFA World Cup winner is clearly a key player already, stamping his authority on the Blues’ midfield.
Pochettino does give him licence to go forward too, so Fernandez could be an added attacking threat against Burnley.
Will Caicedo play against Burnley?
Providing he is fit, Caicedo should play against the Clarets, as we expect Pochettino not to change a winning team if everyone is available.
All eyes and ears will be on his pre-match press conference though, as he reveals if his British-record signing has overcome his contusion issue.
Chelsea predicted lineup vs Burnley – The Final Word
Chelsea are unbeaten in nine previous encounters against Burnley, and will fancy their chances if they can keep the same team against Fulham fit and confidence high. However, the pressure is still firmly on, as this will be a real acid test to see if their resurgency is real.
A defeat or even a draw against struggling Burnley would knock down their confidence again, while a win would see a good spirit grow even more exponentially throughout the camp ahead of the international break.
