Free Betting Tips for Nimes vs Le Havre
If you can’t seem to decide on a bet for Nimes vs Le Havre, check our top betting predictions for this duel here:
Nimes or Draw
With our first Nimes vs Le Havre prediction we go for a slight surprise as we back the hosts to avoid a defeat. Nimes won 3 of their last 5 home games and also the Crocodiles lost only 2 of the previous 11 home H2Hs (W1 D8). Le Havre come into the match drawing 3 of their last 4 matches.
Under 2.5 Goals
With our next Nimes vs Le Havre prediction we venture into the Goals Market again. We don’t think this will be a high-scoring game and we expect fewer than 3 total goals to be scored. Le Havre are leaders not because they score a lot of goals but because they defend very well. Only 1 of their last 13 away league games produced more than 2 goals. Nimes are also compact and only once in the last 4 rounds, they were involved in a high-scoring match.
BTTS – No
Our final Nimes vs Le Havre prediction follows the logic of the previous betting tip and we don’t think both teams will score. There was a clean sheet in 2 of the last 3H2H clashes. Also, Nimes saw only 1 of their last 6 games finishing with both sides scoring.
Nimes vs Le Havre Lineups and Team News
Nimes
Nimes lost on their visit to Amiens last Saturday and they remain 4 points away from safety as a result. They won their last 2 at home though and with 7 of the 8 league wins so far achieved at home, it’s clear where the Crocodiles play better.
Nimes used the same lineup in the last 2 rounds but now some changes can be expected. Tchokounte pushes for a start in attack, with Mousset the one threatened to be benched if his displays don’t improve. There are selection issues in defence as the starting centre-back Djiga and the useful full-back Sadzoute are sidelined. At least, the other main centre-back De Gevigney seems to have recovered from illness on time and is set to start.
Le Havre
Le Havre remain first and very close to securing their promotion. Despite being held to draws in 3 of the last 4 rounds Le Havre continue to have just 1 defeat all season and their consistency is the main reason why they are where they are.
The squad will be seriously stretched for this trip though and even Le Havre’s big group of players look stripped to the bare bone right now. The main left-back Operi is suspended. On top of that 8 players nurse injuries, including all of the other 3 regular starters in defence and the team’s main goalie Desmas. All this is likely to see winger Casimir used in defence, with midfielder Mbemba also an option to fill in as part of the back line.
