The 2023 US Open is set to start this week with Matt Fitzpatrick looking to defend the crown he won last year at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. Fitzpatrick is one of 156 players with their eyes on the prize this week with a stacked field set to tee it up at Los Angeles Country Club.
One player who won’t be there, however, is Tiger Woods who is continuing to recover from ankle surgery following his withdrawal from the Masters in April. The man who won the green jacket that week, Jon Rahm, is playing though as is PGA Championship winner, Brooks Koepka.
The US Open is often touted as the toughest challenge in golf, with organisers often selecting the hardest course in the country with the hardest setups. One thing notorious about the US Open is the long rough which has once again been prepared expertly by those in LA ahead of this week.
For those lucky enough with tickets for the event, the issue of watching the action is taken care of. However, for those planning on watching at home here is everything you need to know.
How to stream the 2023 US Open?

For Golf fans in the US, the best way to stream the US Open is via Peacock. At just $5 a month, Peacock is the cheapest, easiest, and best way to stream live sports events that are being broadcast on NBC – which the US Open is. For $10 a month, you will be able to watch the action unfold without any advert interruption which might suit viewers who don’t want to miss a second of golf this weekend.
How to watch the 2023 US Open on TV?
If you have no social plans and are planning on watching the US Open from the comfort of your living room then watching it on TV makes the most sense. For viewers in the United Kingdom, you can watch all four days of action, from the first tee shot to the final putt live on Sky Sports Golf and Sky Sports Main Event. Live coverage begins on both channels on Thursday at 15:00 UK time.
For US golf fans, the situation is a little more complicated as live coverage is split across two channels – USA Network and NBC. The first days of coverage will be shown exclusively on USA Network while the final two days will be shown exclusively on NBC. If you want to watch the entire tournament in once place, then you can still do so via Peacock.
