West Ham United vs Sheffield United Predicted Lineups – West Ham United are determined to end a two-game losing streak in the Premier League by demolishing the visiting Sheffield United side at the London Stadium this Saturday afternoon.
Based on last weekend’s events at Bramall Lane, this is a perfect game for the Hammers to flex their attacking power and get back on track at the promoted side’s expense.

Contents
David Moyes’ side have suffered a bit of a setback to their explosive start to the Premier League season, having suffered back-to-back losses that have left them in eighth place. They aim to put that tough spell behind them and raise their team morale in West Ham vs Sheffield United.
Meanwhile, the Blades have endured a rude awakening upon their return to the Premier League, losing five of their first six games. That includes a truly embarrassing 8-0 loss to Newcastle United last week, when they became the first side ever to allow eight different individual goalscorers in a PL game.
Team News: West Ham United
West Ham’s experienced left-back Aaron Cresswell sustained an unfortunate injury in their 3-1 win over Backa Topola in their Europa League opener earlier this month. He is expected to miss this game due to that and there is still no confirmation on when the Englishman will be back in action.
The Hammers, however, have been lucky enough to not lose any key first-team regulars this season. Their big summer signing Mohammed Kudus is yet to start a Premier League match since his high-profile move from Ajax in the summer.
However, this is probably the perfect game for Kudus to make his first league start and showcase the true potential of his ability against the struggling Blades.
West Ham United Predicted Lineup
Alphonso Areola, Vladimir Coufal, Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd, Emerson, Edson Alvarez, Tomas Soucek, Mohammed Kudus, James Ward-Prowse, Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio
Team News: Sheffield United
Paul Heckingbottom’s side are surely not being helped by the heap of injuries that their squad has sustained in the early weeks in the Premier League. Experienced midfielder John Fleck is still out with a heel injury, as is their full-back Max Lowe due to an ankle injury.
Both are expected to be out until after the international break. Striker Rhian Brewster is suffering from a thigh injury, as is full-back Rhys Norrington-Davies. Left-back Ben Osborn is also expected to be out for another month with a groin injury.
Along with all these injuries, Sheffield United are also without players like George Baldock (Calf), William Osula (Muscle) and Oliver McBurnie is suspended for this too. At this point, the Blades will have to pray that lady luck is on their side for them to salvage anything from their trip to the English capital.
Sheffield United Predicted Lineup
Wes Foderingham, Chris Basham, John Egan, Jack Robinson, Jayden Bogle, Oliver Norwood, Tom Davies, Luke Thomas, James McAtee, Benie Traore, Cameron Archer
Will Michail Antonio score this weekend?
West Ham striker Michail Antonio had a bit of an embarrassing afternoon at Anfield last weekend in his side’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool. After boasting about his side’s ability to defeat the Reds on their own turf, his disappointing performance has earned him a lot of mockery.
In turn, Antonio is probably brimming with rage and the determination to silence his doubters. He’s without a goal in the last three games but has sparked up the London Stadium this season – even scoring against Chelsea. He’ll probably enjoy facing this shaky Sheffield United backline, making use of his physicality and clever off-the-ball movement to torment them.
The 33-year-old will be desperately to add goals to his tally in this clash and show how clinical he can be at his very best.
