These are two of the four remaining unbeaten sides in the Premier League heading into this weekend. Spurs are 4th on 14 points after drawing the North London derby last weekend while Liverpool are 2nd on 16 so both sides take real momentum into the match.
The game will be live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League in the UK.
Team news: Tottenham
Spurs had a free midweek after their impressive showing in the North London derby. Ange Postecoglou has a clear idea of how he wants his team to play and seems to be pretty clear on who his best players are too.
With his team playing well, it’s unlikely we’ll see many changes to the eleven here although the Australian is sweating on a few injury doubts. James Maddison, Brennan Johnson and Giovani Lo Celso fall into that category while Ivan Perisic, Bryan Gil and Ryan Sessegnon are definitely out.
🚨 Tottenham are optimistic James Maddison's knee injury is not serious and that the midfielder will be fit to face Liverpool on Saturday. 🤕

Maddison would be a significant miss if he doesn’t recover in time for this match, although Spurs are hopeful his knee injury is not as bad as first feared.
Tottenham predicted lineup
Vicario, Udogie, Van de Ven, Romero, Porro, Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison, Solomon, Kulusevski, Son
Team news: Liverpool
Liverpool have set their stall out to make a real push at the top end of the Premier League this season with five wins and a draw from their opening six games. Their good start has extended to the cups too with Jurgen Klopp heavily rotating his team in midweek for the 3-1 win over Leicester.
Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota both scored in that match to stake their claim for a starting role here. However Klopp is likely to change his whole front three and most of his eleven from the Leicester game for the trip to North London.
The Reds don’t have any fresh injury problems. They are still missing Thiago and still have a doubt over Trent Alexander-Arnold’s fitness.
Liverpool predicted lineup
Alisson, Robertson, Van Dijk, Konate, Gomez, Mac Allister, Jones, Szoboszlai, Diaz, Nuñez, Salah
Will Trent Alexander-Arnold play against Spurs?
Trent Alexander-Arnold is back in training again as he nears fitness following a hamstring injury sustained against Aston Villa at the start of the month.
His involvement in this game will be dependent on how he progresses in the hours leading up to the match and it’s possible that the right-back could at least take his place on the bench.
