Liverpool star Cody Gakpo has revealed his favourite position in the Reds team.
The Netherlands international arrived at Anfield from PSV Eindhoven in the January transfer window, and has gone on to make 23 appearances under Jurgen Klopp.
After some initial struggles in England, the attacker is showing his capabilities on the pitch, and now boasts six goals for his new club.

Due to injuries, Gakpo was thrown in at the deep end upon joining Liverpool, with Klopp playing the Netherlands star in an unfamiliar central forward role.
But the 24-year-old has also played out wide, in attacking midfield and even in central midfield. He has shown his versatility on the pitch, with Gakpo now revealing where he likes playing the most.
“I enjoy playing for sure and I’m looking where I can help the team the most,” said Gakpo, as quoted by the official Liverpool website.
“Sometimes that’s a little bit deeper in the midfield and sometimes it’s in the striker’s position. I just enjoy playing with my teammates, and especially when you win it is way more fun!”
Reds close in on Man United
It was in that deeper role where Gakpo found himself playing in the clash with Brentford on Saturday, which Liverpool narrowly won 1-0 thanks to Mohamed Salah’s early goal.
The victory represents a sixth successive win for the Reds, who last dropped points in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal this time last month.
Klopp’s men are in superb form, with their winning run helping them climb up the table after huge struggles for the majority of the campaign.
Thanks to the run, and indeed some poor results from rivals Manchester United, there is just one point separating the two sides in fourth and fifth place.
The Red Devils currently sit fourth on 63 points, with Liverpool in fifth on 62. The former do, however, have a game in hand in the race for the top four.
Liverpool ace Gakpo keen to finish strong
Gakpo looks certain to play a key role in this battle for the Champions League places, with Liverpool having just three matches left to try and put as much pressure on Manchester United as possible.
The Reds travel to struggling Leicester City next, before a home clash with Aston Villa and a trip to rock-bottom Southampton.
Manchester United meanwhile have home matches with Wolves, Chelsea and Fulham to come, as well as an away meeting with Bournemouth.
But Gakpo is only focusing on what he and his teammates can do, with other results simply out of their hands at this moment in time. A Champions League place would be a remarkable achievement for Klopp’s side given their ultimately frustrating campaign.
“It’s a great feeling to win six games in a row but the season isn’t over yet,” added Gakpo. “I think we just have to stay focused, keep working hard and try to win the last three as well. I’m really happy with the win and looking forward to the next game already.”
