Who will win the Super Bowl this season?

This is the 2021/2022 season and even though we got about 30% of the regular season left, plenty has happened already.

We have had superstars miss games due to illnesses (Amari Cooper, Nick Chubb, Lamar Jackson); we have had other superstars allegedly failing to present sufficient proof that they have been ‘’immunized’’ (Aaron Rodgers, Antonio Brown), and we have also had superstars miss games or the remainder of the season because of injuries (Derrick Henry, Jameis Winston, Rob Gronkowski).

Why do injuries and missed games matter in the NFL?

We are telling you all this because it will affect who plays who in the postseason. Seeding is exceptionally important in the NFL and in order to make a prediction of who will win Super Bowl LVI, we need to foresee how the regular season will end.

The three healthiest teams in the NFL currently are:

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Green Bay Packers

It is no surprise that these are also the teams with the highest chances of hoisting the Lombardi trophy according to pros and aficionados.

Will the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the Super Bowl in 2021/2022?

This is the team with perhaps the greatest depth at most positions. This was obvious after the first couple of weeks of the season when their secondary was decimated and plagued by injuries. While the Bucs lost a game here or there, they managed to put enough bodies on the field to patch up the situation.

They also played 7 games without star tight end, Rob Gronkowski, winning 5 of them. Wide receiver Antonio Brown has been out since week 7 and his absence hasn’t been felt. This is mainly because superstar quarterback Tom Brady continues to put in hard work, day in and day out, and covers up all the shortcomings that the team has. This is why Brady is also favored to win the MVP award at age 44.

Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVI

Will the Kansas City Chiefs make a good Super Bowl run and win it all?

Kansas has had its ups and downs this season. By week 6, everyone thought they were out of it. The team was 2-3 and Patrick Mahomes had thrown 9 interceptions. The defense was the big problem as they were ranking in the bottom quarter in all major defensive categories.

Then all of a sudden, after a devastating loss to the Titans in week 7 (27-3), the Chiefs woke up and managed to string together 4 straight wins going into their week 12 bye week. In that stretch, the defense allowed a total of 47 points which is 11.7 points per game.

We can’t sleep on last year’s finalists, so we give Kansas good chances to make another Super Bowl appearance in 2021/2022 as well.

Will the winners of the Super Bowl be the Green Bay Packers?

Aaron Rodgers’ controversies followed him in the regular season too. He was out for a game with an illness, then he was blamed to have lied to the media about his health status, and finally, he suffered a broken pinky toe which didn’t hold him back.

Aside from Rodgers, it turns out that this Packers team is very well-built. The Offensive line ranks in top 5 in most categories, the wide receivers’ corps is deep, and the defense is stingy. The team is also relatively healthy, and it is obvious that it is well-coached. The Packers are 9-3 and if they get that 1st seed in the NFC their path to the Super Bowl is going to be deceptively easy
