Rangers to win to nil
Rangers have won five league games in a row, they’ve scored 19 goals in those five games. The Gers have been really solid defensively; they’ve kept three clean sheets in their last four games, conceding just once. As a matter of fact, Rangers have not conceded at all in their last three league games. On the other hand, St Johnstone have lost four games in a row; they’ve also had a lot of difficulty finding the back of the net. St Johnstone have failed to score in their last two, and four of their last five games; they’ve scored just one goal in that five game stretch. With this in mind, we’re making the prediction that Rangers will win whilst keeping a clean sheet.
Someone will fail to score
We’ve already established that St Johnstone have not scored a lot of goals recently; their games have been one-sided as a result of that. At least one side has blanked in five of St Johnstone’s last six games. In the same vein, Rangers have kept three clean sheets in their last four games; at least one side has failed to score in four of their last six games. It’s also worth pointing out that at least one side has blanked at the end of regulation time in four of the last six meetings between these sides; and for these reasons, we believe one team will keep a clean sheet here.
A low scoring game
Recent clashes between these two have mostly been on the low-scoring side; as three of their last four meetings have gone under 2.5. St Johnstone have managed to score just one goal in their last five games; their games have mostly been low-scoring as a result of their lack of goals. Seven of St Johnstone’s last eight games have gone below the 2.5 goal mark; as a matter of fact, five of their last six games have even gone under 1.5! Considering three of Rangers’ last four games have also gone under 2.5, we’ll likely not get too many goals here.

Rangers vs St Johnstone: Meet the teams
Rangers
Glasgow Rangers have been on a roll; they’ve won five of their last six games, and have lost once in their last 15 games across all competitions. The Gers have no losses in their last six games, and they’ll look to extend that streak to seven today; all eyes will be on James Tavernier.
St Johnstone
Things have not been going too well for St Johnstone; they have lost four in a row, and have no wins in their last five games. Callum Davidson’s men will hope they can halt their unwanted streak with a win today; it’ll be interesting to see if Stevie May will fire his team to victory.
