These odds from Ladbrokes were correct at the time of writing.
Livingston have won just one of their last five games, and they have no wins in their last three games; however, it’s worth noting that Livi’s last three games ended in draws at the end of regulation time. On the other hand, Dundee United have been the worst team in the Premiership this season; although they’ve won three of their last seven games, two of those wins were in the Cup, against teams in lower leagues. Dundee United have managed just one win in their last 11 league games. To be fair, Dundee United have drawn two of their last five league games; they’ve also drawn two of their last five meetings with Livingston. Considering Livi have drawn three consecutive games, there’s a good chance this ends in a draw.
We fancy both sides to score
Dundee FC have actually scored a lot of goals recently; they’ve scored in all of their last four games, averaging two goals per game in that stretch. Conversely, Dundee have not been very good defensively, as they conceded six goals in those four games. Just like Dundee, Livingston have scored their fair share of goals; they found the net in five of their last six games. Again, like Dundee, Livingston have not been able to keep the goals out; they’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last seven games. Both teams scored in five of Livi’s last six games, and in three of Dundee’s last four games; for this reason, we’re making the prediction that both teams will score.
It won’t be loaded with goals
Finally, we’ll take a look at the over/under goals market. Encounters between these teams tend to be on the low-scoring side; four of their last five meetings went below the 2.5 goal line. As a matter of fact, three of the last five clashes between these sides went under 1.5, with two of those games ending goalless. Additionally, Livingston’s most recent games have been low-scoring; their last three games went under 2.5. Considering these are some of the lowest-scoring teams in the Premiership, we shouldn’t expect too many goals here.

Dundee vs Livingston: Team News
Dundee FC’s two game winning run ended at Celtic last weekend; they’ve had mixed results recently, with two wins, two draws and two losses in their last six games. Mark McGhee’s men will hope to bounce back from their loss to Celtic; they’ll look to Danny Mullen to lead the attack.
Things have not gone too well for Livingston recently; they are without a win in their last three games, and they’ve won just one of their last five games. David Martindale’s men will hope to get back to winning ways here. Will Bruce Anderson fire his team to victory?
