Both Teams to Score – Yes

We have seen many matches that resulted in both teams scoring goals recently. For example, four of the last five matches for Cambridge ended with both of them scoring goals. Also, three of the only four head-to-head matches between Cambridge and Sunderland ended the same way.

Match Result – Draw

For both Cambridge and Sunderland, both of their latest fixtures in League One ended with a draw. Also, most of Cambridge’s matches this season – eight out of nineteen – ended with both teams scoring goals. The cherry on top is that two of the last three matches that Cambridge played against Sunderland in the past ended with a draw.

Total Goals – Over 2.5 Goals

Each time Cambridge and Sunderland played against each other the matches ended with more than 2.5 total goals scored. Another fact that supports this theory is that four of the last five matches for Cambridge ended with more than 2.5 total goals scored, including the last three they played. Also, most of the matches for Sunderland this season ended that way (similar to Cambridge’s match history this season).

Cambridge vs Sunderland: Preview & Team Injury Status

Sunderland

Sunderland isn’t our favorite for this fixture for many reasons, including the fact that two of their players are out with injuries. Jordan Willis has been injured since February this year and Arbenit Xhemajli has been also out with a more serious injury for more than a year already. Both of the injured are defenders, so a BTTS outcome is likely.

Cambridge

Cambridge has had a lot of draws recently and we wouldn’t be surprised if the match on Saturday also ends that way. They don’t have any injured or suspended players, but Lloyd Jones is at risk of suspension with four yellow cards. Also, the match will most likely end with a high-scoring outcome, like the recent matches, like their past fixtures.
