Ross County’s winless rut goes on
We kick off our predictions by backing Livingston to record back to back away wins for the first time since January 2nd. The reason for that is two fold. Firstly, they are a capable team in spite of three recent losses; they beat Celtic (at home) not too long ago and took St Johnstone apart on Saturday. The second part of our logic is simple; Ross County are very, very poor. They’ve taken just three points from the last 27 available and haven’t won a league match since May.
Livingston will keep a clean sheet
With our second prediction we are backing Livingston to keep a clean sheet. They’re not exactly impenetrable at the back but have kept three clean sheets in their last six matches. When you consider how pathetic Ross County are in front of goal you have to lean towards the Livingston backline winning the battle; if they can mark Blair Spittal out of the game then it’s as good as done.
Neutral? Don’t tune in
Our final tip for this match is that it will be a low scoring affair. Ross County have scored eight league goals this season in nine matches; that’s an average of under 0.9 per match. What’s more ridiculous is that Livingston wish their goals scored tally was that high; they’ve netted a pathetic six. They somehow managed to find the net three times last week, which goes to show how poor their attack has been in other games. Surely, these two won’t serve up a glut of goals!!!

In terms of team selection, Ross County’s picture is largely unchanged with the injured Connor Randall and Jake Vokins. They’re both defenders so the sooner they’re back fit the better given the rate their team are shipping goals. In the meantime, Alex Iacovitti will need to do his best to organise those around them to make them hard to beat.
Livingston
Adam Lewis is Livingston’s only known doubt ahead of this match after he sustained an injury against Hearts. He’s far from a key player though. That responsibility falls to Bruce Anderson; the 23-year-old was on flames in his last outing scoring one and assisting the other two in a 74 minute appearance. He’ll be desperate to impact this match the same way.
