Rangers to win again
We start off with a simple prediction; Rangers will beat Aberdeen. Rangers are unbeaten in four matches having won three of them and registering a draw with second placed Hearts. Aberdeen meanwhile won last time out but hadn’t registered a victory since early August before that and had lost five games on the spin heading into their weekend match with Hibs. They’ll obviously focus on the fact they’ve just broken that poor run of form but confidence issues aren’t fixed with one win – especially not if an away trip to Rangers is next in line.
A low key game with few goals
Our next tip for this match is that we’ll see fewer than three goals; we’ll be placing this through the total goals market i.e. under 2.5 goals. The reason we’re predicting under 2.5 is simple; Rangers have gone under in seven of their last 10 matches. Aberdeen have come up short of the 2.5 cut off in six of their past 10. The game averages in those periods make good reading too; Aberdeen have averaged 2.4 with Rangers averaging 2.1 goals.
Kemar to take the Roofe off Ibrox?
We don’t anticipate loads of goals as Rangers host Aberdeen but if anyone is going to make the net ripple then it’s Kemar Roofe. The Rangers forward is in terrific form having netted three goals in his last four matches. Aberdeen have only kept one clean sheet in 10 matches so they’ll be having nightmares about Roofe given he netted a brace in their last meeting. The fact he is on penalty duties further cements his place as the best bet for an anytime scorer.

Rangers vs Aberdeen: Team News
Rangers
Rangers might not be waltzing to a league title like they did last year but they’re certainly walking towards it having won seven of their 10 league games so far. Steven Gerrard’s men have a growing injury list though; Filip Helander, Ryan Jack, Ryan Kent and Nnamdi Ofoborh are all set to miss out again.
Aberdeen
Aberdeen have a couple of injuries doubts heading into this match in Andrew Considine and Michael Devlin but they’re the least of their worries right now as they sit in eight spot in the league. Christian Ramirez is performing admirably though and the American has four goal contributions – three goals and an assist – in his last four.
