Hearts will win to stay unbeaten

Hearts remain unbeaten with 12 games now played; it’s a seriously impressive record considering they’ve faced both Rangers and Celtic already too. Their home form in particular is very strong where they are nine games without defeat having won seven of them. Dundee are not even close to that sort of form. They recorded their first win of the campaign last time out but prior to that it was four defeats on the spin. Their last two visits to Tynecastle Park have ended in defeat as well.

Three points and no goals against

We’ve made it clear that Hearts are our prediction to collect the three points when they host Dundee on Saturday. We fancy them to keep a clean sheet in the process too. They have shipped just three goals in their last six games recording four clean sheets in that period. When you then consider that Dundee have scored just three goals in their last seven failing to score in five matches it all starts to add up to a pretty miserable picture for the Dundee fans.

Boyce to find the net

It’s possibly the laziest tip around with Liam Boyce topping the Scottish Premiership scoring charts but we are backing him to score anytime. He’s scored three goals in his last four games and already has a total of 10 goals for the season. With Dundee having the second worst defence in the league and averaging 2.8 goals against per away match it’s undeniable that Boyce will be expecting to bag at some point.

Hearts vs Dundee: Team News

Hearts

Hearts have started the season in great shape and if they keep their form up they’ve got every chance of challenging Rangers for the title. If they’re to do that they need some others to help Liam Boyce out on the scoring front. He won’t stay red hot all season. Their next best scorer is defender Stephen Kingsley with two.

Dundee

Dundee have made an, as expected, slow start to the campaign albeit last weeks win will have been a welcome boost. The edge in both boxes is killing them at the moment though; that is particularly true in away games where they’ve scored one and conceded 11 in four matches. Leigh Griffiths got his first goal for the club against Aberdeen; can he go on a run?
