Belarus to Win Half-Time/Full-Time

These two teams met in the 2020 UEFA Euro Qualifiers, in which Estonia managed to get a scoreless draw in Belarus, while Belarus won 2-1 in Estonia. Still, things have changed a bit for Estonia since then, considering that the team has had pretty bad results recently, including the 6-1 loss to the Czech Republic a few days ago.

Total Goals Under 2.5

Both of these teams are not the best offensively. That being said, they are prone to conceding a lot of goals, especially against better-ranked teams. However, the two teams are not that different in terms of quality, and while Belarus is a better team, the difference is not that significant. We expect a close game with only a couple of goals at most.

Belarus to Win to Nil

Since we expect Belarus to win and we don’t expect to see a lot of goals, our prediction that Belarus will win without conceding a goal seems like a logical one. In fact, this is one of our favourite tips of the round since we expect both teams to start the game carefully and one goal could be the difference in the end, hopefully in favour of Belarus.

Belarus vs Estonia preview: A lowly European derby

The match between Belarus and Estonia is hardly competitive, but these two teams can still give us an interesting show. So, let’s take a closer look at these teams and what we can expect from them.

Belarus

The former Soviet republic was free in the first round of the 2022 WC Qualifiers, so this will be their first match. Luckily for them, it is against Estonia, so a win is pretty much expected. Belarus has failed to qualify for any major international competition since the fall of the USSR, and a group with Belgium and Czech Republic is hardly a good opportunity for them to achieve the biggest success in the country’s history.

Estonia

As expected by many, and by bookies, Estonia started their 2022 World Cup Qualifiers with a loss to the Czech Republic. What wasn’t expected was 6 goals they conceded, although that isn’t such a big surprise either. In any case, Estonia is currently one of the worst European football nations and they will struggle to get any points in this cycle. Perhaps a duel with Belarus, another poor team, might offer them some hope, however slim.
