Bucks vs Nets Prediction

Over 234.5 Total Points

We backed the Bucks to at least be competitive in the first two games and we were extremely disappointed by what we saw. Yes, the Nets are a great team even without James Harden, but the Bucks have completely fallen apart in the first two games of the series. We still expect them to snap out of it and play better, but we are unsure of it after the last two performances. Instead, our first Bucks vs Nets prediction is for Game 3 to go over 234.5 total points. While the first two games haven’t been as high-scoring as we all expected, these two teams are still at the very top in the league when it comes to offense, so it’s time for us to see a game with a lot of points in the series.

Blake Griffin Over 10.5 Total Points

With James Harden out of Game 3, other players will have to step up and fill his shoes on offense. Our choice and another Bucks vs Nets prediction is for Blake Griffin to put up more than 10 points in the game. Although he is far from the player that he used to be a few years ago, Griffin can still light up the scoresheet occasionally, as he did in Game 1 when he scored 18 points. That being said, his current playoff average is only 7 points per game, but the Nets had James Harden for the entire first round.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 12.5 Total Rebounds

The Bucks can’t lose the next game or they will get dangerously close to elimination since no team has ever come back from losing 3-0 in the series. With that in mind, we expect Giannis Antetokounmpo to play more than 40 minutes, which didn’t happen in the first two games. And even then, Giannis averaged 11 rebounds per game, so our final Bucks vs Nets prediction is for Giannis to have more than 12 rebounds.

Bucks vs Nets Game 3 preview – Can the Bucks get back into the series?

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals will bring another duel in the Buck vs Nets series. The Nets have won Game 1 and Game 2 in a convincing fashion, but let’s check the teams in more detail ahead of Game 3:

Milwaukee Bucks

With two games gone in the series, the Bucks have disappointed their fans and many pundits – not because they lost, but because they didn’t really show a desire to win. Still, the teams are now moving to Milwaukee and we hope to see a better approach from the team. With the exception of Donte DiVincenzo and a couple of bench-warmers, the team is otherwise healthy.

Brooklyn Nets

So far, the Nets definitely seem like the most serious team and the main favorites for The Larry O’Brien Trophy. Even without James Harden (and Spencer Dinwiddie who is out for the season), the Nets have dominated the Bucks vs Nets series and won the first two games without any problems. Of course, the games in Milwaukee should be different, the Nets will once again miss Harden, but this team has a lot of reasons to be optimistic at this time.
