Over 223.5 Total Points
Two of the first four 76ers vs Hawks games have gone over the line, while two of them have gone under. Furthermore, these games happened alternately – the first game went over, the second under, and so forth. Following the same path, it’s time for another game in the series to go over the line, which is 223.5 points in this case. So, one of our top 76ers vs Hawks predictions is for Game 5 to end with more than 223 points scored.
Tobias Harris Over 21.5 Total Points
The experienced forward averaged 23.2 points per game in the playoffs so far, although his average slightly dipped to 21 points per game in the series against the Hawks. However, Harris is one of the primary offensive options for the 76ers thanks to his ability to stretch the floor and shoot from distance and with Embiid banged up, we could see him taking even bigger responsibility on offense in Game 5.
Bogdan Bogdanovic Over 18.5 Total Points
When we first started to write predictions for 76ers vs Hawks matchup, the line on Bogdanovic was 16.5 total points. So, the line has went up during the series, which is understandable since the Serbian guard has been averaging 19 points per game in the series as opposed to 16.4 points per game in the playoffs overall. However, we still expect Bogdanovic to go over the line since he is shooting at a high rate, although not as efficiently as we’ve come to expect. Still, the guard shot 24 times in Game 4 and with Young dealing with a shoulder injury, we could see Bogdan shooting at the same rate in Game 5 in Philadelphia.
76ers vs Hawks Game 5 preview – Can the 76ers defend their home court?
We’ve seen some very exciting games in this series and we hope that we won’t be disappointed in the future either. With that in mind, let us check the teams in more detail.
With the series tied at 2-2 after four games, the 76ers have a chance to get to the Conference Finals if they can defend their home court in the remaining games. The 76ers are certainly capable of doing that, but there are a few issues that the team has to deal with if they want to achieve this. First of all, they have to find a way to make up for the absence of Danny Green, whose injury will once again keep him sidelined after he already missed Game 4, which the 76ers lost. Secondly, they have to manage Embiid’s minutes better since the big man was banged up and gassed in the last quarter of Game 4.
So many things have gone against this young, but resilient team in Game 4. Trae Young was dealing with a shoulder injury, although this didn’t seem to affect him much since he finished the game with 25 points and 18 assists, albeit on poor 8-26 shooting. The Hawks are also dealing with multiple injuries since Goodwin, Reddish, and Hunter have all been out in the first four games of the series and they will remain out for Game 5 as well.
